A Beaverton-based family painting business led by a perfectionist who treats every home like his own.
Meet Vlad
Vladimir Vygorskiy has been painting homes in the Portland area for over two decades. He came up working in the trade, learning the craft from the ground up, and went out on his own to start Cascade Painting in 2004.
Since then, he's been running Cascade as a true family business. The team is built from family and a handful of long-time tradespeople Vlad has worked with for years. Some of them have gone on to start their own businesses, which says everything about the kind of work he runs and the kind of relationships he builds.
He's a perfectionist about the work, which sounds like a marketing line until you understand what it actually means. He won't sign off on a finish he wouldn't accept in his own home. The drop cloths come down. The prep gets done right. The final coat goes on the way it's supposed to, not the way that's faster. That's the standard, and it hasn't changed.
Cascade is also a trusted painting partner for other established Westside contractors, including A Cut Above Exteriors, where Vlad's reliability and finish quality have made him a regular call after siding and roofing projects wrap.
Vlad personally walks every project, gives every estimate, and still answers his own phone. When he isn't on a job, you'll usually find him and his family at their cabin on the way to the coast.

Vlad answers his own phone. He gives the estimate. He walks every project. If something needs to be discussed, you talk to the owner, not a sales rep or a scheduler.

Lead Painter · With Cascade Since 2020
Family too. Vitaliy is Vlad's wife's cousin and has been in the trades for over two decades. Off the job he's outdoors with his wife, or home with a puzzle and a board game.
Max
Painter · With Cascade Since 2022
Vlad's nephew. The youngest on the crew, learning the trade from a perfectionist. When he's not on a job, you'll find him at the gym or out with friends.
